Montreal, July 16, 2008 - (TSX.V: BUG).  Biophage Pharma is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr. Luc Dubois and Mr. Jocelyn R. Pelchat to its Board of Directors. Mr. Dubois is the President of the Board of Validapro Biosciences Inc. Mr. Dubois is a biologist expert in the pharmaceutical and biotechnological fields. He has a deep knowledge of the key players and market trends, and is an internationally recognized specialist from process development to commercial product manufacturing, including in laboratory requirements for (bio) pharmaceutical products. Mr. Dubois also holds an executive MBA in Bio-industries and a B.Sc. in Biology with major in Physico-Toxicology.

Mr. Pelchat is the Vice-president of Pharma Concept Inc. Mr. Pelchat is a chemist, holds an executive MBA and a M.Sc. in Nuclear medicine/Radiobiology.  He is a senior Executive with international Pharma experience. He served in a number of executive, business development and management positions with Axcan Pharma Inc., SGF (Société Générale de Financement), Sanofi Aventis and Novartis.
